Context makes intelligence useful.
A model can understand a request. Business context tells the system what that request means here: which services are offered, what information is required, when the team is available, and which situations need a person.
These details belong in the design of the system. They shape what it can say, which actions it can attempt, and when it should stop and ask for help.
Actions need boundaries.
Creating a lead and changing a customer record are different responsibilities. Each integration should have an explicit purpose, limited permissions, and a clear account of what happened. Uncertainty should lead to clarification or human review.
We treat human escalation as part of the workflow. A useful handoff carries the context forward so a team member can make the next decision without restarting the conversation.
Measure completed work.
The meaningful questions are operational. Was the caller helped? Was the right information captured? Did the next step happen? Where did a person need to intervene? These are the outcomes that should guide evaluation and improvement.
